Interests

My research focuses on software engineering and architectures in the healthcare domain. Areas of interest include service-oriented architectures, product lines, software deployment, program transformation, and component-based software engineering. My current activities include developing an architecture for asset management and utilization services for mobile hospital equipment.

Past

Before joining Philips Research I worked as Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Software Technology group of Utrecht University (2004), and in the System Architecture and Networking group at the Eindhoven University of Technology (2003). From 1999-2002 I was Research Assistant at the CWI in the Interactive Software Development and Renovation theme. My PhD. thesis "To Reuse or to be Reused" can be found here.
